As the newest judge, Kara DioGuardi made a real first impression on American Idol the very first night. The newest judge got into a real cat fight with  20 year old contestant Katrina Darell. So, what really set you off Kara, was it the bikini, the voice, the attitude; or because Randy and Simon didn’t hesitate to to rush Katrina Darell, aka Bikini Girl off to the American Idol Hollywood tryouts?

Kara DioGuardi defended her actions on KIIS FM, to Ryan Seascrest. Kara told listeners to Ryan’s show, that Bikini Girl had a better body than a face. Kara said that all she tried to do, was critic Katrina’s treatment of a Mariah Carey song. It didn’t have a enough swing. When Kara sang a part of the song for Bikini Girl to take notice, Katrina quipped, “Your demonstration wasn’t any better.” You can check out a video clip of this confrontation from yesterday’s post.

In any case, keep your eye on Katrina Darell! This cat fight is not over, nor is the drama; once Hollywood tryouts kick into gear. It’s safe to say, Randy or Simon will feel caught in the middle of this fight. Both of these guys waved Katrina Darell right through the American Idol audition, without batting an eye.

Bikini Girl is has a very sharp tongue and is not intimidated by Kara DioGuardi, in the least. Should Kara or her good friend Paula put on enough pressure, we might not be seeing Bikini Girl for any extended stay on American Idol.

With all of the other reality show competitions churning out new series, we will not be seeing the last of Bikini Girl, should she get eliminated from American Idol. We have every reason to believe, Katrina Darell will show up on some network’s reality show in the near future.
